Ok, so perhaps it was the time - swung by there at noon on a Saturday - neon sign that you can read from the street is "OPEN" with the normal black tinted winnows. Tbis place is NOT low profile/ discreet in My opinion - others might disagree. Location is just north of freeway on east side of Brookhurst. So on the plus, it's free way accessible. That's about it. Place is in a SMALL lot with about 4-5 other businesses - it's at the END of the lot. If you choose to drive there you are stuck in there - I like larger lots where cameras won't catch you coming and going - no chance here. Oh, and there is a security gate that blocks off the small parking lot presumably after hours. So, as I mentioned I don't like driving in where I can be seen. So I decided to park down at the gas station about a block, block and a half down. Several homeless people milling about and cars w/ people that must be parked 24/7 that look SUPER sketchy - so I park a bit further up in a larger lot in back of a medical/ student lot (you will see- just south of building) - so I walk to street - and up to the small lot. All the stores that have business are open - a auto paint store, guy looks at me when I'm walking by - one or two others - I get the stare - next to last place is a barber shop that's busy - I get the eye. Ugh, so I walk into the massage parlor. Ok - larger front "office" area with short about seven foot walls that form the reception window & door to back room - music in the place is kinda loud, so I ring the bell. I wait. And I wait - over my left and on back wall is a security camera - near sliding glass reception window another camera. Ok, look around - a couple of chairs, not much - I don't see anything much in side. Wait some more. Ring the bell a second time. Wait - look around - no certificate of occupancy - no massage certificates on being licensed - ok - that's a good sign. I try the door - locked (of course) - try the sliding window - locked. I ring a thrid time - I wait - I look out at parking lot - some of the cars that were there when I first came are gone - a couple of new ones. I wait a bit longer Hmmm - I try to look over the partition - I see what looks like the typical large format employment laminated poster (again the walls are only about 7' - and I'm over 6, so some portion of the wall beyond is visible... but not much. I write this review so guys can know what to expect on walking (or unwisely) driving up. I bail -I leave - I doubt I'll be back - a few other places on Brookhurst and side streets that have good talent - I don't like the location of this one.
