The room stunk; not like homeless but a strong,...
The room stunk; not like homeless but a strong, scented massage oil kind of stink. It was too overpowering for me. I undressed and got under the sheet. The heating pad was too hot and she shut it off. Kiera starts with you face up which is always weird and started on my neck. Her massage is very slow with lots of ummm I guess you could call it acupressure- like. Too much for me. She also did kind of a stretching thing, sort of. Her technique is hard to describe because I haven't encountered it before. She wrapped my foot in a hot towel and kind of massaged it, then removed the towel and used a hot rock to do acupressure, then rubbed the rock on my foot. Didn't do anything for me. At one point she would grab my big toe and squeeze while using her other finger to do pressure on spots. After the flip she did a better job on my back and legs with a more Swedish massage. Recommend? This is the tough part. She gave a really good, professional massage. She knows her stuff but I just didn't like her technique. Too much pushing, pressure and too slow. However, if you like that kind of massage then give her a shot.
