Like many of you, I shook my fists at the heavens...
Like many of you, I shook my fists at the heavens and cursed the massage gods when Self Indulgence closed. So I was naturally excited last week when, driving by, I noticed that it was open again. Could it be?! Was Grace back?! I made some time yesterday to go in for a massage to find out. Sadly, the answer is: nope. The place is totally legit now, at least as far as I can tell. None of the girls from the old place are working there. It looks pretty much the same inside, although there seems to be a lot more legit spa equipment (machines, a display case selling lotion and makeup, waxing equipment, etc.). Anyway, Lon (sp?) met me at the front, led me to a room, told me to get under a sheet, and came back a few minutes later and began a legit Thai massage. Her technique was pretty good and I might have enjoyed it if I hadn't spent the whole massage remembering the times I'd been here (probably in the very same room) to see Grace. Anyway, no hint of extras whatsoever. I tipped $10, said no to the water, and left. So, a word of warning to you other mongers: this place is reopened, but it's not the same.

This place is on Bolsa just off Beach with a sign...
This place is on Bolsa just off Beach with a sign for foot massage. Wanted to check it out and went in and rang the bell. A decent looking woman came to the window and asked if I wanted a massage. I wanted to try the foot massage but she said they don't do that and I pointed to the sign in the window and she said the girl only does body massages. I asked the price and she said 40 for 30 min and she was the masseuse. She seemed friendly enough so I went for it. She led me to the room and I got undressed and onto the table. Lon came in and covered me with a towel and started the massage. She gave a soft massage that was relaxing. Her English is ok and there was a little small talk. She was dressed in jeans and a black tank top that showed her bra and a little cleavage. She massaged over the towel at first and I was thinking this might be a toftt. Then she moved the towel away to massage my lower back and butt. She got real close to the boys with a couple of brushes. After about 20 min asked me to flip and turned away as I turned over. She covered my mid are with the towel and statred with my upper body and then moved down to my legs. She worked my upper thigh under the towel and bumped jr and gave a little giggle and smile. She the worked my hip area over the towel and bumped jr again and gave another smile. Time was running short so I placed her hand on jr and she shyly rubbed as jr was at full attention. I pulled the towel away and she gave a nice but rushed finish. Cleaned up, tipped and out the door. I may return.
