This is a new place that opened up in a little strip mall across from the Wells Fargo Bank on the NE corner of Washington and Via Marina. Being close to home I wanted to check it out – they have a large Thai Massage banner hanging at their upstairs location next to their Thai restaurant (already doesn’t sound too promising). At the entrance they offer $10 off and once inside the little entry there is a price list on the counter which offers a $49 one hour Thai massage and other types for 10 or 20 more. I paid the 39 (10 off) and was led by a nice looking young Asian to one of the several side by side cubicles – each filled with a mattress raised up off the floor. There was also a large pair of shorts that the girl told me to put on and it was becoming very clear that this was strictly legit. I stripped and pulled up the huge shorts loosely so that there was plenty of access to all of me. The greeter was also my masseuse – there was no one else around (maybe had a backup in the restaurant next door but I never saw anyone else). So I got a decent massage, lots of time on the legs and feet, then lying on each side and only legs while I was lying on my back. I told her at one point that I was hoping for a sensual massage but she probably couldn’t go there and she agreed. We did a lot of chatting – she is from a smaller city outside of Bangkok and has been here five years, and other chit chat. However, the whole setup reeks of legitimacy and she was more like a daughter than a provider. She was studying a SAT type book with her computer at the front desk when I took my cup of water, gave her a little tip and left after my first legit massage in many months. Since there was nothing eventful happening I never even got her name so I used Solo since there was no one else there (on Monday, late morning). I only say recommend because there were no expectations of more than legit, and it was an ok massage for an ok price by a young Thai.
